What began as a School of Nursing created to serve Louisiana in 1923 by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady has grown into a University organized into three academic schools: the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Health Professions and the School of Nursing. For 100 years, we have formed Franciscan servant leaders of all faiths who are integrated thinkers and highly skilled professionals. Join us as we celebrate this huge milestone during our centennial year by honoring our past and looking towards the bright future ahead.
